All the different Belmont branches in the area vary there selections widely, so one store will have a completely different selection than the other a block away. That said, they all tend to have pretty decent wine and beer selections and, for the most part, have pretty good prices.

I would give them another star but I have a few complaints, nothing severe though, I am often annoyingly picky! Here they are: the staff can be extremely knowledgeable or completely clueless, always very polite and very nice though. Second, the inconsistency is pretty annoying but once you know which branches have what, you get over it. Finally, and this is the annoyingly picky part, their "selection" of cocktail bitters is ridiculous! My Meijer's and Wal-Mart in a "transitional" neighborhood has a much better selection of cocktail bitters than ANY Belmont's I've been to, either in the ghetto or in Granger, one of the the richest townships in Michiana! If you like experimenting, trying new and interesting things, or have an interest in mixology, definitely go to City Wide instead! BUT, City Wide IS, at least on average, a bit more expensive.

That said, the Granger Belmont's does have the best wine selection and, as I said, the staff are always nice and as helpful as they can be! City Wide does have a great staff as well though, hence the three stars.

I wouldn't be surprised, however, if they read this review and try to make some improvements on my pickiest irritations!
