The Belton Church of Christ is a group of loving Christians who strive to glorify God in all that they do.

Story

Hello, and thank you for visiting the Belton Church of Christ Facebook page. We hope that if your in the area you will join us for a Bible class or worship service. Our congregation is made up of families of all ages who share together their love for Jesus Christ and their desire to serve Him. We strive to be the church of the Bible that Jesus Christ bought with His blood on the cross. (Acts 20:28)

The Belton Church of Christ is a very caring congregation dedicated to studying the word of God and applying its timeless truths to our daily lives. Here you will find a place to fit in, use your talents, grow in your relationship with God, and with other Christians.

I am thankful to be able to serve next to such a great group of Christians and we hope that you will join us in our walk with God.

What We Believe

- The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative word of God.

- There is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

- In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His role as mediator between us and the Father, in His promised return to this earth to judge the living and the dead.

- Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ.

- A person becomes a Christian by hearing the message of Jesus Christ, believing in that message, understanding that they have sin and must repent of that sin, being willing to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and being baptized for the forgiveness of their sins.

- At the point of your baptism the Holy Spirit comes and dwells within you.

- In the resurrection of the saved to an eternal home with God in heaven and the resurrection of the lost to an eternal punishment in hell.

Mission

Our mission at the Belton Church of Christ is to guide people to a life of faith in Jesus Christ then on to lives that are fully devoted to Him. Our Upward, Inward, and Outward focus helps us accomplish this.

Upward – The most important relationship you have is with God. Through worship and Bible study you develop and mature your spiritual relationship with God.

Inward- God designed the church to be a family of believers. We care for, encourage, and help one another through life’s greatest joys and greatest disappointments.

Outward – As the church we are the light of the world. We make a dedicated effort to help fill the needs of the community and most importantly tell them about Jesus Christ and His saving power.
