Vietnamese Homestyle Cuisine
Situated in the lush delta of the Mekong River, Ben Tre (Bến Tre) is renowned throughout Vietnam for its beauty. An oasis in the scorching tropic sun: a patch of palms shadow the land- the coconuts swell heavy with sweet milk. Sparkling emerald rice fields sway in the sun. The “ao dai” girls make their way to market, careful to keep their delicate faces hidden from the scorching sun. They pick out the liveliest fish-the ones still dancing with life, the freshest crispiest greenest vegetables just a shade short of jade. It is their daily quest for the very best- for their most cherished- their family, ours and yours.
