Since 1953, we have been providing heating, air conditioning, and air quality services to customers throughout Bend and the surrounding areas. We have been in the HVAC business longer than any other heating and air conditioning company in Central Oregon.

Story

Bend Heating & Sheet Metal found its new owner in Scott Zettle in 1987. He started from the ground level and eventually worked his way up after learning the ins and out of the HVAC industry.

Bend Heating & Sheet Metal prides itself on company culture and service. Over 12 employees have worked for the company for over 14+ years and the company as a whole has over 250+ years of air conditioning and heating experience.

Bend Heating & Sheet Metal service is known for one of the best HVAC services in Central Oregon. Their HVAC technicians and installers are some of the most experienced and certified employees in Bend and the surrounding area.

Bend Heating & Sheet Metal made great improvements in their custom fabrication shop. Their latest projects are all customized for clients and their homes. The custom fabrications projects include the following: custom counter tops, staircase railings, chimney chase caps, garage door panels, and much more!

Our story has only begun and we're excited to keep servicing the Bend community and the surrounding areas for many more years to come!

I had to give up on Bend Heating and Sheetmetal. I had them come out for annual maintenance in May before it got hot. The service tech said there was a faulty sensor in the heat pump but it seemed to be operating fine. He said he would order a new sensor and put it in. June arrives and I haven't heard from Bend Heating so I call in to see what's up. They told me the wrong part was ordered but the right part was on it's way. June 25 arrives with no word from Bend Heating. I call again and am told the part arrived that day. I made an appointment for June 28 in the afternoon for the tech to come and install it. On June 28 the tech called in the morning and said he was running behind and couldn't make it until the afternoon. I said that was fine because my appointment was scheduled for the afternoon anyway. I asked him to call when he was on his way so we could put the dogs inside. He said he would. Well, nobody showed. I called Bend Heating again to see what he deal was and I wanted to get my part installed before the AC quit working. Two days later, the service manager left a message saying the part was installed. I'm not sure how that happened, since we have a fenced, gated property with three dogs and a driveway alarm. I'm pretty sure the tech didn't just let himself in without anybody noticing. And, AND, now my AC quit working and the house has been 90 degrees. Exactly the problem I wanted to avoid by having my annual service early in the season. Bend Heating and Sheet metal has dropped the ball so many times this season, I can't take it any longer. I can no longer recommend Bend Heating and Sheet metal. Just so you know, they installed the AC/heat pump and furnace 5 years ago. They did a great job then and every year until now with annual maintenance. Communication is a challenge. The gal answering the phone is friendly but not very knowledgeable. I then get transferred to the service manager who is either disorganized or disinterested and may or may not call back. I'm very disappointed.

I interviewed several companies before choosing Bend Heating & Sheet Metal to retrofit air conditioning to my forced air heating system. The a/c works fine and I'm very glad I got it done. Decided on them because they seemed the most professional and on the ball. The people I dealt with had hands on experience rather than being career salesmen. I was given choices of equipment and there was no pressure. The job was completed in one day and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves as well as following through with scheduling inspections. Price was reasonable and competitive.

A great experience from start to finish! Excellent folks to work with, professional and timely. Explained what they were doing and why. Finished the job on time and within budget. We are now enjoying our new ductless heating/cooling system. thank you Randall, Scott and the two Jaimes from Bend Heating!

Kudos to the team at Bend Heating. Can't say enough good things about their professionalism and knowledge of the products we were interested in. The new Carrier Infinity furnace exceeds our expectations for comfort. Highly recommend Bend Heating for a job done right as promised.
