Stayed there once. Had a good time. The Campground is nice. Until the last night there. My 16 year old son and two girls from another campsite ventured out and went walking through the woods. There is a policy that states anyone under 18 has to be accompanied by an adult after 10 or 11... I forget. They got lost and then found the campground and were on their way back to our campsite when they were accosted by the security guard. The security guard asked them what they were doing and when my son answered him and tried to tell him they got lost, the guard got up in my sons face and yelled "get your ass back to the campsite and don't you ever let me catch you out here again". When the kids told me he said, I was like "or what".. So I went to the office the next morning and complained about the guards behavior and they kept making the point that my son shouldn't have been out after dark with no adult. I kept saying that I agreed and I dealt with him but the guard had no right talking that way to children and I told them the next time he did that, I was going to call the police and they kept arguing that their guard has a right to reprimand children!! I do agree with the policy regarding children running around after hours unmanaged, however, this guard had no right getting in the face of children and treating them the way he did. Him and the girls were very respectful to him and if he had that much of a problem, maybe he should have came back to my campsite and told me about it and I would have went and got them in my car. Today, I called and asked about reserving a campsite and they told me that "I was a violation"... I was like, what does that mean, I am a violation... They proceeded to tell me that because I threatened to call the police on that guard if he talked to my kids that way, I was banned from their campsite! I AM A VIOLATION! Like, do you people even go to school?!! That's not even proper English. And when I spoke to Lisa about what happened in the past she kept talking over me and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, even though I was calm and trying to tell them I had no issue not coming back if that is what they wanted. Worst Management and staff EVER!

I thought the campsite was ok and bathrooms and game room were clean and nice if I am giving an unbiased review, but if you are looking for outstanding customer service and the appearance of appreciation of your business, you should not expect it from the main girl working at front office along with two other staff.  There were some friendly staff that were nice to speak with, but I have read numerous post and the common theme is customer service.  Unfortunately when you have a family owned campground, family members are often placed in positions they shouldn't be and I would assume that is the case here.  If you can find a comparable campsite based on price and location to Ohiopyle, which I have researched and there are, I would highly recommend it.  We would not stay here again.  If I owned this business, I would take these reviews serious as I am also a business owner and consider all feedback from customers.

Wonderful campground. Large, spacious trailer lots. Clean, well maintained facilities. Friendly staff. We arrived after dark and had a little trouble deciphering the map, but once daylight hit, it all made sense.

I wish I could give zero stars for this campground. I made a reservation the day before I was set to go camping due to my fiancées hectic work schedule. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my reservation that same day, mind you it was only hours after I made the reservation, so the cabin was never going to be rented by anyone. I called and told them my situation and that I was unable to make it to the campground the following day. The women told me that I would be unable to get my 192 dollars back ( what one night in a cabin cost there) because I have to cancel 30 days in advance. I told her that no one informed me of the cancellation procedures and fees before I made my reservation. She basically called me a liar and said that every employee reads a script of the cancellation procedure and info on the campground and she knows that her employees always read it and proceeded to argue with me. If she would have at least seen what she could do to give me half of my money back I would have just taken the loss, but to really charge me the whole amount only after making the reservation one day prior to camping is AWFUL!! How can you rip someone off like that and I was nothing but nice even when she was basically calling me a liar. Obviously this campground is garbage if they have to rip people off like that. Avoid this place at all costs !!!
