Story

Benu Glass Creations produces a full line of hand-crafted, unique, kiln-fused and kiln-cast glass items, from glass earrings to glass sinks. We embellish some of our products with Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and/or Dichroic* glass and polymer. All products are made in-house to keep the details and materials consistent. Our line of products grows with each new commission and as we take on new projects,

fresh ideas flow and new items emerge in the process. At Benu, that is what is so exciting as an artist and designer, being able to merge the two together while simultaneously working on what we love.

* Dichroic Glass was originally created by NASA, composed of a metallic oxide coating over glass, such as titanium, magnesium and silicon, but was discovered by warm glass artists. It reflects one color while transmitting another (as the light passes through the glass). This is one of the hottest materials being used by artisans today, and should by experienced first hand. The brilliance of the colors when exposed to sunlight is breathtaking.
