First time going to the Benvenuto’s in fond du lac was a giant disappointment. First we had to wait a couple minutes to get seated when there was no one else in line. Secondly when the hostess sat us, they put us right next to a large group of loud people having a birthday party when the rest of the restaurant was empty. Then our waitress came and asked what we wanted for drinks, took our drink order then said she would be back with them and the complimentary bread. From that point we waited 20-25 minutes with no drinks, and no bread. The table with the party was large but had already been served and bills being taken care of. We did have one person come up and ask if we needed drinks but that was shortly after our waitress left to supposedly get them. A couple that came in 10 minutes after us was sat and brought drinks and such before us. Our waitress was too busy counting her tips in front of the guests which first of all is rude, and second of all unacceptable when you have people waiting for their order to be taken. At that point we got up and left and were told to have a good day and they could clearly see we weren’t being helped. We were not rude in the slightest and didn’t say anything when we left. Will not come back to this restaurant, Beaver Dam will have my business.

I'm not sure what some of these other people typically eat, but both times I have eaten here the food smelled great,and looked great. However, all three meals and two appetizers I have had where dry and tasted as if they seasoned the food with chalk. I will still gladly give two stars due to the excellent and friendly service. But the food.. never again. Also if your not worried about money by all means, but for me I've had better at Applebee's for half the price.

This place is horrible honestly. Got the "bruschetta" it was burnt toast with marinara,  went back and they gave me a bowl of some mess of cheese and tomatoes . Save your money go to McDonald's.

Good food. corrected a few minor errors but was also a new server. Had loads of fun even though the place was kinda slow. It was a Monday night after all. For a friendly atmosphere and good quality good at a reasonable price worth it. It I located in a hotel. This threw me off at first but don't be scared come on in and enjoy.

While the food my be ok, staffing is below sub par and not accommodating at all.
