Interesting place to look around.  Fun to watch students make brooms and other things.

Good selection of materials for students as well as Berea College swag for visitors.

It is more than just a typical college bookstore that simply offers textbooks and apparel. In the books section it has a lot more to offer in terms of local and regional writers as well as regular popular and best-selling books. Berea College apparel, like T-Shirts, hoodies and other clothing items, glasses, wallets etc., is all very high quality and has some popularity among the tourists.
What is slightly more interesting is the section devoted to stationary and small travel items and toiletries, like lint removers, travel-sized shampoos and soaps and other small things that each traveler might need. What is the most interesting about the bookstore is it's selection of... food. Berea Bookstore sells a number of items from the Berea College Farm - all organically grown: various greens, like lettuce and spinach, various meats, eggs and also strawberries, when they are in season. The prices are actually very reasonable and sometimes even lower than the chain shops.
