I would like to thank the three officers from the Berkeley Township NJ Police Department that responded to a call last night on Pelican Island.  A young lady was extremely troubled and in a very dark place.  The situation was very fragile.  These three officers spent four and a half years patiently speaking with her and assuring her of her safety and their willingness to help her.  I'm sure they were tired.  I know I was exhausted.  They never let the situation escalate and the episode ended successfully.  She will be helped now and no harm came to anyone, including her very large dog.  I was proud to be able to witness so closely these officers doing what they do best, protect and serve.  During the course of the evening, while we all worked to bring positive closure, I never learned the officers lasts names.  So I say with the utmost respect, Jason, Johnny and Kyle, thank you for what you do.

I am Danielle Gianni corrick of Beachwood. I was in a car accident yesterday which was November 17th 2016 and the sergeant who came to my rescue ,and a couple of the policemen of Berkeley...wow what an amazing team. I feel compelled that I have to give a shout out of how amazing and wonderful they were. truly the best police I have ever come in contact with besides Beachwood police Adam O'Connor. anyway with that being said... Berkeley Township police has just become my favorite police station ever and the best Sergeant ever. truly amazing people and I just wanted to say thank you again and again. you know who you are and I just wanted to say you're truly an inspiration Sergeant and I hope that all of the police officers follow your ways Because they should. you're definitely a great role model to have on that police force. awesome awesome team. have a great holiday n thank you again for coming to my rescue yesterday you're all awesome
