Berks Kids Dentistry offers dental services to the children of Berks, Lancaster and Schuylkill Counties of PA, including the metropolitan Reading area. With 10 years combined experience, Dr. Kristin Gordos and Dr. Laura Snyder are extremely fortunate to participate in the lives of children and their families. We look forward to creating a long-term, satisfying, professional and friendly relationship with you and your child.

Our Practice is one of the only offices in the area that is limited to children, adolescents, and special needs. We are honored to give children a road to a life time of smiles.

Kristin A.L. Gordos DMD

Dr. Kristin established Berks Kids Dentistry in April 2006. She grew up in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. She moved to Berks County after marrying her wonderful husband, Christopher in 2001. Dr. Kristin is a Nazareth Academy and University of Scranton graduate. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Kristin completed two years of advanced specialty training in a hospital based pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. She received the elite status of Board Certification in 2008. Her pediatric training allows her to treat childhood dental issues. It also enables her to effectively deal with emotions of children to pave the way for a positive adult experience. Dr. Kristin is an active member in the Berks County Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. When Dr. Kristin is away from the office, she loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and their three wonderful children Andrew, Mackenzie and Madelyn. She also enjoys movies and traveling.


Laura Snyder, DMD

Dr. Laura joined the Berks Kids Dentistry family in 2009. Originally from Lancaster, PA, she moved to Wyomissing to be closer to her fiancée, Dr. Jordan Hottenstein. Dr. Laura and Dr. Jordan were married in May 2011. Dr. Laura is a Lancaster Country Day and Bucknell University graduate. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Laura completed two years of advanced specialty training in a clinic based pediatric dentistry at Temple University School of Dentistry, Episcopal Hospital. Dr. Laura received the elite status of Board Certification in 2010. Her pediatric training allows her to treat childhood dental issues. It also enables her to effectively deal with emotions of children to pave the way for a positive adult experience. Dr. Laura is an active member in the Berks County Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. When Dr. Laura is away from the office, she loves spending time with her husband, Jordan. She also enjoys cooking and playing tennis.



Hygienists

Maureen Danks, RDH
Maureen, a native of Harrisburg, PA, graduated from Northampton Community College with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She started practicing with the late Dr. Thomas Gosselin upon graduation and with Dr. Kristin in 2001. She has over 24 years experience working with children and special needs patients of all ages, abilities, and personalities. She is dependable and fully committed to exceptional patient care. Maureen lives with her husband, Craig, and their children, Aaron and Nicole.

Pamela Foesig, RDH
Pam, originally from Green Lane, Montgomery County, graduated from Montgomery County Community College with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been a dental hygienist for 10 years and joined Dr. Gosselin and Dr. Kristin in 2003. She loves working in a pediatric practice and strives to make every patient feel welcome. Pam loves spending time with her family, friends, and her very energetic Golden Retriever, Bella. She also enjoys traveling and hiking.

Nicole Plocinski, RDH
Nikki, originally from Williamsport, graduated from Luzerne County Community College with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. She joined the Berks Kids Dentistry team in 2008. She loves working with children and strives to make each visit, exciting and fun for each and every one of our little patients. She lives in St. Claire, Schuylkill County. She loves spending time with her boyfriend, Kyle. She enjoys shopping, outdoor activities, and spending time with her nephew, Gunner.


Dental Assistants

Kimberley Johnson
Kim, a graduate of Lower Merion High School, is an in-office trained Dental Assistant with over 23 years experience. She began working with Dr. Kristin in 2004. She is also certified in dental radiology, CPR and operating room procedures. Kim takes great pride in her work and makes sure that each patient she sees, feels comfortable and at ease with their surroundings. She loves children of all ages and when needed, she will gladly hold any baby that comes in! She resides in Sinking Spring with her husband, Bob, and their children, Jessica, Melissa, Bobby and John.

Kimberly Rozetar
Kim, a graduate of Wilson High School and York Technical Institute Dental Assisting program, joined Berks Kids Dentistry in 2009. She is also certified in dental radiology, CPR and operating room procedures. She is very energetic and enthusiastic about her new career and loves working with Dr. Laura, the entire team, and the wonderful children. She lives in Sinking Spring with her husband, Rick, and their children, Logan and Ethan. She enjoys spending time with her family and playing Bunko with her girlfriends.

Front Desk

Joni Hoppel
Joni, a native of Western PA, joined the Berks Kids Dentistry team in 2009. With over 20 years of dental field experience, she loves keeping the schedule working efficiently. She handles billing and insurance issues with ease. She is a great addition to our office. Joni resides in Adamstown with her husband, Kenny. She loves spending time with her daughters, Ashley and Amber, and her grandchildren, Sam, Avery, and Max. In her spare time, she volunteers as the Secretary for The Friends of the Adamstown Library.

Candace Keith
Candy, a graduate of Cocalico High School, began working with Dr. Gosselin and Dr. Kristin in 2002. She greets all of our patients with a friendly smile and cheerful attitude to make all feel welcome. Besides her front desk duties, Candy also coordinates both Dr. Kristin and Dr. Laura’s surgery schedules. She resides in Denver with her husband, Andy and their children, Owen and Sommer. She loves spending time with her family, taking trips to the beach and reading.
