Please Please.....You will see Jill Stenbach signs ALL over town(Sewickley)...Don't let that pull you in. This person is what the Real Estate people say is a "Listing Agent"...she loves to sit with you and do WHATEVER it takes to get a listing.. Absolutely every agent in Sewickley had no surprises when we shared that she was always threatening and a "bully" in her communication with us.....As an example, the buyers "supposedly said they wanted both refrigerators in our home. We said no, we want one of them, her comment back was "Well, if you don't give them both, THEY WILL WALK"....we heard this comment on a consistent basis... At one point, I asked if this was a "dual agency"...was she representing both parties? She wasn't....It was so bad we had to fire her, her stress to us was ridiculous. Then we went to the Berkshire - Hathaway office and shared this(way more instances), with Eileen Maranuk, the broker, who is amazing!!! She saved our deal AND we thought all along that the buyers were jerks...not so, Eileen said at the closing the buyers said, "boy it is so much easier with you Eileen that the OTHER agent". I shared this with some of our neighbors and I was shocked that ALL that had said they had either heard of Jill or worked with her and had so many horrible stories. Why didn't they tell us????
There are so many good agents in Sewickley.....Stay clear of Jill.....!!!!!
