Ginger guy was cute but not very friendly. As soon as I started speaking with him I knew he wasn't making a sale today. He provided me with the info I needed but in a way that felt condescending. I'll stick to the regular Best Buy where the employees seem more helpful and accommodating.

Walked in and said "I need a phone please." I said my name, the employee didn't respond.
I asked for his name, no reply.
I asked for his name again, he said, "my name is Mr Quan. You may call me sir." 

Not making this up. Had a friend with me who heard the whole thing.  That's when I turned on the recorder on my phone. This horrible man then insulted me through my phone purchase, his disdain for me obvious and blatant. I protested that the phone numbers he offered me (765-894...) were not  local numbers for me (local cell#'s for me are 765-585 or 765-299) he said he couldn't help. Finally he said I already had 5 lines on my contract and he was unable to add a sixth line. Everything we had read from AT&T ahead of time said it would not be a problem. So I left with a blank phone and must now spend several hours with AT&T hooking the phone up because this arrogant, knowledgeable jerk was having a bad day.

I'm guessing this guy is in his 20's. He has a giant pile of red hair. I don't know his name because he never gave it to me. I a not-scary 56 year old man, I own and operate 2 Hardware stores, and I'm a decent geek. I was dressed nicely because I had just come from a funeral where we had buried a wonderful human who was taken from us way too young. I live in a rural area an hour away, so I wanted to pick up a phone at Best Buy while I was in the city. I know that BB is getting beat up by Amazon and all the other phone sellers. I need BB to survive and thrive because they are the only technology retailer I can go to for advice. I do not need this jerk though... he does not belong in retail.
