Worst experience we had in a hotel in our life! First of all the hotel is old and run down, second the room we got had bad cigarettes smell since it was on the 1st floor which is right next to the bar where the lady bartender was smoking. Mind you this was a non smoking room we ordered! When we asked to change rooms because of the smell we were told the hotel is fully booked and when we asked to cancel reservation they said there is no option of getting money back at last minute notice. They offered to spray some cleaning soap around to make the smell better... Then the power outages began! - it was a VERY hot July weekend so the city couldn't handle lots of ppl using air-conditioning...  The hotel did not have a backup power system! During the outage my husband got stuck in the elevator! The fire department came but couldn't let him out without ruining the elevator, since it was such an old one, so they just waited until the power come back, so my husband was in the elevator for half an hour while our child was crying worried about her dad being stuck. No money back was offered for this terrible experience but they gave us 10% off.

Excellent service, first time in my many hotel stays that II was called a few minutes after arrival by the front desk asking if everything is fine. Big room, large fridge adds a nice microwave. Popcorn with movie was a nice end of the day. Morning coffees with a good coffee machine in the room. Small indoor pool but the jacusy was better.

Update August 2017.  Upgraded my rating! Everything is clean, the room I was in looks like new carpet too. As always, the staff is amazing. This place will remain my home away from home when I'm here.  Love the restaurant too.  
Sept 2016: I would have given 4-5 stars if the carpet in my room 315 wasn't so dirty. Otherwise is a really surprisingly nice place and very comfortable. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant has a great chef and waitstaff. Lounge is inviting and comfortable including TVs for sports and a pool table and juke box if you like! 
 I recommend,  and will stay here again soon!

I personally stay over 120 nights a year in a hotel. This property was a pleasant surprise and I look forward to going back again. Everyone there makes you feel so welcome. Rooms are great, beds are comfortable.

I have stayed there several times in there wheelchair suite which was very nice. It had a couch with a fold out bed. A desk and chair,dresser with a nice TV a wheelchair accessible restroom and shower. A queen size bed in a separate room with it's own TV. Microwave,Refrigerator phones in each room...Rooms very clean.  Also indoor swimming pool that has a lift for handicapped people wanting to swim.  And a outside hot tub...
