Had a very relaxing time in our King Suite. What this hotel lacks in modern accommodations makes up for their exceptional customer service. Room was nicely appointed, living room with comfortable couch, spacious bathroom and separated bedroom. Received a nice bonus of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in the evening, and BEST OF ALL in-room breakfast! We have stayed in many hotels in the Kingston area, and will consider staying here again.

We stayed four nights at this hotel. Good service and excellent work by housekeeping staff. Above average breakfast buffet at the restaurant. Pub staff provide great service to outdoor pool as well. Efficient check-in and out and we were there on a busy weekend with parents dropping students off at university. The decor is a bit dated but you can tell the owners take pride and take care of the property very well.

My stay at Best Western Fireside was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. The lounge was also a bit dated but maybe the lodge feel was what they are going for. The service and was good. The breakfast buffet was good and a good selection. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

The Fireside Inn should be considered by leisure travellers for short or longer term stays. Everything about the experience, from check in to check out, was exceptional. Staff courteous, friendly and professional throughout our stay. Room was well appointed, including a fireplace. The lounge was kitchy with a full pub type menu which we sampled and quite enjoyed. Overall highly recommended. Also free parking and nice looking pool.

Beautiful room. Beds & pillows very comfortable. Not sure why only one hand towel for 2 people. Shortage of wall plugs frustrating as well as lack of microwave in room. Atmosphere & service at Tom's place was fine. Complimentary breakfast satisfactory.
