Decent quality Hotel, good front desk service when I checked in late at night. Room was clean and fully stocked. Bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom were fine. They had remodeled the front wall so it was a glass window up high across the whole bathroom. Which looked kind of nice but let in massive light at dawn with no way to screen or curtain it at all. So if you want a dark room to sleep a little later in you're out of luck, but on the whole it was a good experience for the price.

I've stayed here whenever I'm in Santa Rosa...going back many years. Even when the facility was aging, it was clean and quiet. Renovation of rooms over the last few years have made it even more attractive, as far as I'm concerned. Personnel have changed over the years but have always been kind, hospitable, courteous, and attentive. I've stayed with family for a wedding weekend but mostly as a stopping point when visiting family farther north. I highly recommend Garden Inn for travelers.

For a smaller Best Western this hotel was great. Lovely well kept garden area. The rooms had big glass slider windows and chairs outside to enjoy the garden area. Room was very clean.

We stayed in a family suite with 3 beds to accommodate a family of 5 to attend an event. The area is somewhat commercial which I was a little nervous about but once we drove into the grounds and checked into our room I knew it was perfect for us. The room was clean and had such comfortable beds. It has a small cafe on the grounds where you can get breakfast but they were understaffed for a busy holiday weekend but food was good. Overall this hotel is a good pick if you are in this area!

From the outside, the hotel looked well kept. There's a large garden, well maintained pools and hot tub. But our room had a few issues. First, there was a shower cap on the smoke detector. Probably because the previous guest was getting away with smoking in a non-smoking room... but I didn't want to assume and waited for housekeeping to remove it. After two nights, they never removed it. This could be because of housekeeping's lack of attention to detail. From day one, there was a huge stain on the wall like someone threw a pizza at the wall and it stuck there for a couple hours. It's partially covered by the front door, so I can see why they *might* have missed it, but come on. The "black out shades" never really blacked out the light. We could never get them to close completely. The air conditioner was also buggy. You could get it to turn on for a while, but once the room met the desired temperature, it shut down and wouldn't come back on again until you manually turned it on.
