Absolutely loved staying here. Kathy at the front desk and everyone else that worked at the hotel (and I do mean everyone!) we're so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well kept. Only problem we discovered on literally the last moment is our room phone wasn't working, when we tried to call down to the front desk for a late check out. We got the late check out no problem and apparently there are two phone jacks in most of the rooms and occasionally the phones get put on the wrong one...Doesn't get too much more minor when it comes to problems Oh, did I mention a full hot breakfast AND dinner is included in the room rate? Friday nights they don't do dinner because the whole community gets together and sports the local school at their BBQ chicken fundraiser, which you will be invited to. Other nights, food varies but the drinks include ice cold water and beer along with the standard juice and coffee always available. By far one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time.

We have had a wonderful stay. The room has been clean and well maintained. The staff has been knowledgeable, friendly, and gracious. BOTH a hot breakfast (eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, etc) and dinner are included most days! We didn't have a reservation and walked in and were allowed to check in straight away. We even were able to extend our stay with no fuss. The free printing at the business center and free wifi are useful as well! Conveniently located in the center of town. Would highly recommend this establish, and we will definitely be staying here again!

I would give this place a million stars if I could!!! We are Harvey evacuees and this place was a God send. They were so helpful and nice. Rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was great and they also serve dinner on weekdays. I can't say enough about this place and their entire staff!!!

My husband is a first responder with Corpus Christi PD. He was working every day sent to the middle of hurricane in Corpus Christi. All he wanted was to make sure his family would be taken care of so he could do his job. It didn't happen that way. The owner herself was responsible to fix the situation and she didn't. He reserved the room for three nights and they only booked us for two!! They kicked his family out to accommodate someone else who didn't have to pay the government rate.. Sad when a disaster hits, but money takes priority over compassion for first responders and their families. Our children were heart broken!! This owner gives Best Western a bad name!!

Absolutely recommend this BW the management and the staff here have gone above and beyond to help everyone walking through those front doors. Room was clean and kept up. Bed was very comfy! Breakfast was ready available every morning! Highly recommended if you ever need a place to stay here in George West.
