Great room, rate and service. I would suggest asking for a room that doesn't face the interstate as the traffic noise is loud, but if you turn on the fan on the ac/heater unit it isn't intolerable. Close to lots of things. Downtown hickory has good restaurants and we took a hike up Baker's Mountain which is only a few minutes away. Best hotel around for the price we got.

Great place to stay.  Only problem we had was attempting to check in at 4:00pm and still needing to wait an additional 15 minutes before our room was ready.  Other than that, the room was spacious, the amenities much nicer than we expected, and the surrounding environment was fairly quiet.  The hotel is close to several fast-food joints and getting to the freeway is a breeze.  Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean, well furnished, the beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains  were great.  Our room (#250) was on the second floor and was an exterior room with the door face the parking lot.  In order to securely close the door, you had to slam the door making it impossible to leave the room without waking others up in the room.  Light could be seen coming into the room through the cracks around the door. The bathroom is very small and the light switch was outside of the bathroom door. The bathroom consisted of a tub/shower and toilet. The sink was outside of the bathroom. The bathroom allows for very little room to change clothes if you needed privacy to do so. Be prepared to carry your bags up and down the stairs as there is no elevator to access the interior or exterior rooms.

This was an excellent value for the money paid and the rooms we had.  The rooms were clean and well appointed, updated and fresh.  We had adjoining rooms which is hard get these days. The lobby staff was kind, courteous and helpful and the breakfast was very good.  There is no elevator to the second floor.  They also offer both inside and outside rooms.   We would stay there again for sure!

The staff at this hotel was truly amazing to us this weekend. The hotel itself is clean, though it is what you would expect being a 3 star type place. What made me come write a review was how helpful and friendly they were. We were displaced from Florida for Hurricane Irma. My family came with 8 adults, 8 dogs, and a cat. The dogs are barkers and we were worried they might ask us to leave, but they were so understanding and accommodating. The maids fed them treats, the front desk came to pet them and calm them, the service was incredible. They were flexible with our check in and check out dates as we did not know if we would have anything to go back to. 5 stars and I would stay here again in a heartbeat, minus the hurricane.
