Nice hotel tucked in edge of town, easy access to I-75. Hotel seems newly remodeled; outdoor landscaping was very nice. Check-in went smoothly but when we entered our room my husband and I both noted a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke (property is listed as smoke free but must have been a smoking property at some point; humidity can bring this smell out even after the room has been deep cleaned). The front desk clerk was very nice and helped relocate us to a different and much better-smelling room. Bed was comfy, shower had really good water pressure. Good place to stay for the night.

My family really enjoyed staying here. The staff were amazing. They were very nice. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean. Lynn was also very nice and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Good part: + Clean rooms. + Tiny but clean pool and spa for kids. + Very friendly staff. + Fresh breakfast (scramble, bacon, pancake, juice, coffee, etc) and clean dining hall. Need improvement: - The AC in my room was old fashioned we couldn't set the temperature or automatic fan speed. - The hair dryer needed some tweak on the switch to work.

I was on a business trip for 4 days. This place was amazing the customer service was great. I felt so welcomed every time I came back from my meeting. Every staff member from the front desk to the room attendant provided us with the best experience from home. I usually never leave bags in my rooms when I travel. That's how comfortable I was with this staff. Thank you for making this a great business trip.

My family stayed 1 night while traveling. Here is our experience. Staff- All very courteous, super willing to give all of us anything needed, not one staff member missed greeting us! In today's time, great employees are hard to find! The head manager has done every well! Hotel - Most has already been remodeled, beautifully - pool still under construction but will be completed soon. Rooms - Beds more comfortable than our own - fell asleep quickly and stayed asleep until time to get up. Rooms clean and equipped with the right hotel stuff. Breakfast - Perfect for a quick sufficient breakfast! Husband loved the sausage gravy! Breakfast host approached every table, asked all guests if there was anything she could get to complete their meal! With a smile! That early and smiling.... she's a keeper! Parking - we're traveling with 2 very nice 2017 vehicles. Both full of belongings.... Both untouched and safe! Family demands - I had trouble booking through Expedia to meet my demands. The statement of "control freak" is an understatement to define me. I called, spoke to the night time manager, explained the travel issues. On this trip, husband, self, oldest daughter, her 2 children - 3 and 2 mo, her husband, my 17 and 16 year old daughters. All adults 5'11 - 6'2, tall family! We have modest daughters, but under 18. We booked and stayed in 2 suites. Each had 2 king beds with separate quarters!! Perfect!! If traveling through McDonough again, we will only stay at this Best Western were all of us felt - Most WELCOMED, LOVED and TRULY CARED ABOUT!!! Thank you very much to all the staff at Best Western McDonough!!! Lynn D
