Front desk lady was nice enough when we checked in and the lobby was nice and clean. The room smelled like smoke as well as the bedding. It was a non smoking room. AC wouldn’t get really cool and room was humid. On check out morning there was a knock at the door . My husband yelled that we were in the room but a man opened it anyway. I had just gotten out of the shower. I told the man at the desk about these things when we checked out . His response” You had a list, didn’t you?” He also said the smoke smell was probably because it was a pet room???? And as for the man opening the door..... must have been the owner or maintenance man. AND my husband probably had already checked out !!!!! That happened earlier in the morning and I was just then turning in the keys. My husband never handles those things. Wow. I honestly don’t remember even an I’m sorry. If it was the maintenance man that tells me that there must have been a maintenance request for the room they put us in. Probably the AC. The housekeeping staff was very friendly.

We were traveling from Florida to Virginia and stayed at this hotel based on the 3 star rating. We would not have stayed if we had read the reviews. The room was dirty and the shower walls were stained and looked dirty. We took pictures it was so bad. Hair on bathroom floor. A/C did not work properly.  We would have requested a refund and not stayed here if had not been late at night when we checked in. We needed to get some sleep before traveling home the next day. Plan to report the incorrect rating to AAA so noone else will have to stay in these conditions.

Clean pet friendly rooms and grounds for your pet to run around and do his/her business with cleanup bags and trash cans to clean up after. Super clean grounds. Very friendly staff and for this hotel to be so close to the main road it is very peaceful. We have children and this hotel has a pool and they keep it so clean. Always cleaning around here. Rooms are very clean that we couldn't even tell it was a pet room. No awful wet dog smell. Staff is super friendly. If you are around this area I highly recommend you make this your stop.

We had to stay there because we had evacuated due to Irma and trying to make it back home. We had car issues so we couldn't go anywhere else also we had a dog. But the place is gross. The employees were all very nice. But the room was gross. It smelled like animal urine. There was mold in the bathroom on the floors in the corners. One of the two beds had a strong odor of urine. There was finger nail trimmings on the floor. The carpet had dirt on it. I was so mad but I already checked in and my son needed to sleep so we had to stay the night. Oh yeah they also jacked up the rates. Thanks for nothing.Do not stay there!

Clean quiet pleasant stop for folks with pets. Easy on/off interstate. Handy  restaurants within walking distance. Good hot breakfast.
