My wife stayed at the Bradenton East Best Western over a weekend and had a short but excellent experience.  Our check in and check out processes were handled with friendly professionalism and were quick and easy.   Our room was very nice, clean and quite comfortable.  The love seat / pull out bed was a bit uncomfortable but nothing out of the norm for this type of furniture.  Internet was free and worked very well.  A hot breakfast was served that included all of the typical hotel, hot breakfast menu items and the staff keep everything extremely clean and well stocked.  We will certainly stay at this Best Western again when in the area, which will be often because of family members in that area.

I know that this says Best Western Plus hotel but it is not plus quality. The reason I know this Western Plus quality is because we stay at so many hotels to the year and compared to Best Western plus manatee this does not and is not up to their standards. There are stains in the shower there are marks all over the walls to where it was at Pax proper and painted right. Although most everyone I met at the front desk was pleasant and nice we stayed the entire week there are some that just don't care. For instance the swimming pool not only is it not clean there was a sun in the grass beside this one the people that said they had just sprayed pesticide the next day they cut the grass and it got blue right into the pool they didn't care to do anything about it although the one fellow working the front desk did close the pool for the day although they were people in it. And be careful with the breakfast because I am a night person I am up all night long and when the Breads and the muffins and things start getting set out between 11 and 12 p.m. it makes it hard to have breakfast at 6:30 in the morning knowing that it is still buy then. Would I suggest this particular hotel to any of my friends or family no absolutely NO!!! Will I stay here again at my cost no. The pictures were took at about 12:30 a.m.. and there is a slight smell in the breakfast area at all times because the Buffet pans are not cleaned.

This hotel would get 0 stars if I could.  We checked in went up to room with my 3 children my son (whom is three) says the second the door opens it stinks and then my 8 year old says ugh cigarettes gross. I go down to the front desk and Andy says "I can switch you to room with one bed hmmm how can an entire family of 5 fit in one bed. He was willing to reimburse me if I wanted to check back out at that moment, so I sat down and tried to find another room for the night. No luck literally every hotel booked for some Jazz convention that was going on.   I asked again are there not any other rooms that could accommodate my Family? "No nothing" but he did offer to take $30.00 off my rate. I would have gladly paid $300.00 at that moment for a nonsmoking room. I called Best Western customer service line, Was connected to probably one of the rudest people I have ever spoke to in my life. She just basically said oh so sorry we discounted the room what more do you expect. When I tried to talk she would talk over me, I got off the phone madder than prior to reaching out to customer service. So I was stuck. I went to my smoke stained room and went to use the bathroom I lifted the toilet lid and the toilet was disgusting!!!! We had family come in later that night. They checked into a room 2 doors down from ours that didn't smell like smoke and would have had enough room for me and my family had Andy switched  it out in the beginning. I was lied to and told there was no other room that could accommodate me. So I wake up the next morning and go into bathroom to brush my teeth and what do I see? A bathroom infested with ROACHES!! I can't figure out how to upload the photos or else I would post them on here. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! I also had to go to Walmart to buy blankets and towels to use because the towels in the room were so old they looked like something I would use to detail my car rims with!! I notice the general manager leaves responses saying they are addressing it however the 40 to 50 baby roaches in my bathroom don't appear to show that. Close down the facility tent it do something! I'm terrified to put our luggage back in my car/ house I hope I am not bringing home unwanted guest with me!!! --update--  I did show pictures to front desk and the one lady was really nice and said when the manager came in she would give us a refund which I do appreciate. So we shall see

I hate to post such a terrible review over one of my favorite hotel branches but this Best Western was the worst hotel experience in my life. Even though I DETEST roaches with a passion, the few encounters with these pests (Yes, not one or two but THREE roaches) still did not compare to the absurd and distasteful treatment of one certain employee from their staff. I wasn't able to catch her name but our entire group put up with her disgusting attitude for the remainder of our stay. I wish I could say that it was personal or maybe even racial but she carried her venom with her towards everyone. The first day of the week she argued back and forth with her coworker in front of everyone in the lobby. She was relentless! That's when I knew she was bad news. She huffed and puffed and breathed down our necks while we ate our breakfast. She would cross her arms in disapproval and glare at my teens while they refilled their cups. She cut in front of one of them and shut off the machine and said "Out of Service!" While she walked away before we had a chance to question. Being in the same room with that woman was the most uncomfortable feeling. I'd rather befriend a roach than ever come face to face with that snake again! So disappointed. Tall, slim, pixie cut bleached hair and bottle thick cat eye glasses. They have some serious work to do. Start by fumigating this lady, and then the roaches.

The hotel is nice and offer more than just your basic breakfast which is a big plus.  I am not a fan of the brown decor for the hotel.  It makes it feel like they are hiding something.  But overall a nice place to stay.
