My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and while the room itself was very appropriate, I cannot say the same about some of the staff and the restaurant. We received incredibly slow service and waited nearly 40 minutes for very bad french toast. To top that off, we found pieces of old fried chicken in our potatoes... As we checked out, the receptionist (Darlene) insisted that we had not yet payed the additional 30 dollar taxes. When we told her that we had payed everything online on their website prior to our arrival, she stated that the hotel had no such website and that we had to pay. After a few minutes of debating, we realized that she was not going to budge on the extra charges. We payed and as we walked out we swore to write this review. Very disappointed.

Room was nice clean, the bed was comfortable. The hotel could use a small refresh a little paint to brighten up up not bad at all. Few nice perks like shower curtains that don't cling to you. Breakfast at the restaurant was very nice.

The staff were really helpful and courteous. I felt right at home. We did run into an issue where we didn't have any plates or cutlery in our room and the in-hotel restaurant was closed, so we had to head out to find disposable plates and cutlery. Other than that, it was a satisfying experience.

This hotel was acceptable. It was close to where we needed to be. There was a good range of food choices nearby. The room was clean. We booked last minute and there were only 2 rooms left. We ended up with a pull-out couch for our second bed. Thankfully our younger children were the ones to sleep on it. Service was good, but slow, I assume because it was fully booked. My only real complaint is that the pool was cold.

Although we have not actually stayed at the hotel yet, I would suggest any of you doing wedding planning in the milton area stay FAR FAR away from the Best Western Plus Milton. We blocked off 35 rooms and one week before the deadline for bookings, we had a guest inform us that they were unable to get a room despite only 23 rooms from our block being booked. The hotel has given away 17 rooms that were supposed to be guaranteed to our group up until the booking deadline 3 weeks out from the wedding date. After following up with the hotel, they said they had been able to secure a small number of rooms at their sister hotel Home 2 Suites Hilton across the highway...when our guests called, there were no rooms available for them there. So unless you want to leave your guests stranded with nowhere to stay the night of your event, use another hotel!!!!!
