A very nice and pleasantly located hotel for both business and leisure. If you are exploring the redwood forest then this is the hotel for you and yours. Breakfast was above the norm for this type of hotel and the staff during breakfast was pleasant and efficient. Food items were varied and kept at appropriate temperatures. Front desk staff were very professional and dealt with minor items briskly.

I recommend this motel to everyone. The employees were very pleasant, polite, professional and efficient, working as a team. Check in and check out was a breeze and he breakfast was very good. Nice place an quiet. I will be back.

Very nice property. The decor and rooms were comfortable. We had a suite for the 5 of us. 2 adults and 3 kids. There was a kitchen in this room that we didn't need, but for an extended stay it would be useful. The breakfast was large to accommodate the size of the motel. The staff at breakfast seemed overwhelmed with trying to keep food items and utensils stocked. They may have been understaffed. The location of the motel is very good for sightseeing. We visited the Trees of Mystery as well as the Jedidiah Smith redwood park. There are other sights to see close by as well. A visit to the visitors center is advised. I thought the cost for the room was high, but that seems to be the case anymore. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the ares.

We are on a 2 week road trip from Wisconsin to Utah, Oregon, and stopping here at the best western on our way to the redwoods. Beautiful hotel with such friendly staff. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette (7 adults, 1 child) and had plenty of room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for the bathroom. It is one full bathroom so if someone is taking a shower or going to the bathroom they are the only one who can be in there. The breakfast was hot and really good, eggs, sausage, etc. Nice sized buffet with great friendly service. Overall I highly recommend this hotel near the Marina.

Very satisfied with Best Western Crescent City. We were upgraded to a second floor room with a view toward the marina which was very nice. The inclusive breakfast was better than most hotels that offer 'free' breakfasts. Enjoyed our brief stay.
