My review is not from a room stay standpoint but it is from a "business to business" standpoint. Kudos to the front office manager, Maria, for her willingness to assist after students from my department stayed in Savannah to present research at a conference as representatives from our university. She was very professional in hearing my request for consideration and helpful in accommodating my students charges. Wow, such quality customer service is hard to come by these days. Though it is expected in the hospitality field, it still needs to be noted when it is WONDERFUL AND PROFESSIONAL

An amazingly wonderful staff. Everyone there doing anything was genuinely kind and extremely helpful. Even the man working on the lovely pool had it it up and running ahead of the posted schedule. All of them, the location, parking, nice clean room, bathroom, closet, comfortable beds (everything working-wifi to refrigerator) security and a truly pet friendly situation made seeing beautiful Savanna an absolute joy.

The construction going on behind the hotel was ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM. I wasn't even aware of it until I actually saw it. And I didn't hear a word about it from any other guests.

I loved this place ! Close to everything ! Ray at the front desk was exceptional! We worked with Mary the concierge a few times too book tours. She was amazing and knew the city well. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great and we didn't have trouble sleeping on the first floor. Pool was nice. Girls from house keeping gave us great care. Good prices, no one should complain.

They never cleaned our room. When I went to the front desk that evening to get towels. Kevin at the front desk didn't even apologize. We have construction going on across the street and at 7am this morning there was loud hammering going on. On of the people staying here yelled out to them and they stopped. However in a short time it sounded like a bulldozer was being used. I feel they should have told us about this when we booked and we should have been given the option to book or not. Also Kevin at front desk was obviously not cut out for his job. Was not very personable when we checked in. We have been here several times in the past but I believe we won't return.  Also I agree with the previous person who posted. Breakfast of eggs and bacon was cold

I was not too happy parking was across the street & that I had to pay an additional fee for parking. My overall experience was good. The room looked nice but it could have been a little cleaner. Found a stain on the sheets. Looks like they were washed, but it being a hotel, those sheets should have been thrown away. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable.
