These folks gouged locals during the fire evacuations. While most even much more upscale establishments were offering a flat $99 per night, they charged many upwards of $210 per night plus fees(half off $420!.) Real bummer they didn't step up to the plate, I've worked in hotels, I'd have a hard time believing basic operating overhead is anywhere near that price.
I'm adding to this, maybe they'll explain- while I think it's great you gave away rooms, and offered deep discounts, you never touched on the fact your deep discounts were well over $200 per night for many evacuees. That's gouging during a disaster plain and simple, if during your slower time (end of October) is less than $120 per night. (That's the going rate by the way for this week.) What that tells residents of Sonoma is you're charging too much to disaster victims during the fire, and much less to tourists when it's a slow time, agree?

Very overpriced for what you get. No hot water, no apology and no elevators. Balcony was overgrown with vegetation and management let kids play in the pool way past 10:00PM

Incredible experience. A place for relaxing in Sonoma at a reasonable price. My daughter loved to get directly the pool area from the room.

Beautiful grounds,nice variety for breakfast each morning (which was included in the room price). Quiet even though we were right next to the pool. Friendly helpful service. My only disappointments were VERY firm mattresses & pillows and no refrigerator in room. We had a fireplace & in room coffee maker so I was surprised the room lacked someplace to chill the delicious wine we purchased.Overall a nice place to stay and pretty centrally located to Sonoma square.

Best Western was a pleasure to stay at. We had to stay there during the Sonoma fires and even though they were short staffed due to the emergency, provided good service. Rooms were clean and amenities were nice.
