Beth Chayim Chadashim, Los Angeles, California Rosh Hashanah 2017! I visited the previous Beth Chayim Chadashim synagogue at the older building just down the street before they renovated the new one back in 2011 for several Shabbat Services! The Beth Chayim Chadashim is a very nice synagogue and the people are very friendly and I really enjoy the atmosphere of their new location including the little water exhibit in the parking lot with the colorful balls inside. For the first two (2) days of Rosh Hashanah, they borrowed another synagogue called Temple Isaiah and on the very last day being Friday, September 22, 2017, we went back to their original building. During the afternoon on the Very Last Day we went to Santa Monica Beach to throw bread into the ocean and then go to a very nice dinner party. I'm was very happy to join them and I more than highly recommend this synagogue if you are Lgbtq or somebody that is Lgbtq-Friendly or anybody else who is curious about the synagogue. I want to personally Thank the staff members for Inviting ME to their Rosh Hashanah Services and for putting on a Very Nice Religious Event during the High Holidays from Wednesday, September 20, 2017 until Friday, September 22, 2017. Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore Visitor Executive Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites /HPS =========================================================== Beth Chayim Chadashim, Los Angeles, California I have gone back to Beth Chayim Chadashim synagogue for other Important Jewish Holiday Celebrations and Festivities and this one was for Sukkat which is to remember and respect our Harvest! I really enjoyed their Services and the Sukkat that they made in which we prayed at and ate out of. I want to personally Thank the Rabbis and staff for the wonderful service that I attended back on Friday, October 7, 2017. Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore Visitor Executive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites /HPS ====================================================== Beth Chayim Chadashim, Los Angeles, California This is a very special Jewish holiday which is to Celebrate and Remember the Harvest! It is very similar to The American or Canadian Thanksgiving holiday! During our holiday, we have great food and we have a lot of dancing and music around the Torah! It is a Beautiful Celebration and you can see that from my short sample YouTube video. I really enjoyed this holiday and hopefully you can make it for our next Simchat Torah Celebration next year in 2018! I want to personally thank Rabbis Lisa Edwards and Heather Miller, Cantor Juval Porat and staff members from the Beth Chayim Chadashim synagogue for putting on a fantastic Simchat Torah Event back on Friday, October 13, 2017. Shalom! Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore Visitor /HPS

Very haimisch, egalitarian, inviting synagogue. Beautiful building inside. Lovely members and rabbis.

I like it because the people are really friendly; I find services very spiritual; and the Cantor has a fabulous voice. The senior Rabbi Lisa Edwards has a wonderful, spiritual way with words which help people feel better. Both Rabbis are wonderful teachers and their love of Judaism shines through whatever they are saying. I love hearing Cantor Juval Porat and singing with the congregation. Everyone is welcome there.
