Office staff is rude, especially when you call to tell them that the grave site of your loved one is inaccessible because it's under water, or the plantings are all dead. Which is all the time. My father was buried in 1992. There are no live plants on the grave site. "That's a low-lying area", There's a problem with the soil in that section", "We're going to re-assess the plantings in the Spring", "...in the Fall", "...next Tisha B'av". You can leave messages, but once they know you are calling with a problem, they won't call back. The older section of the cemetery (where you first drive in) is well maintained and obviously doesn't have the same issues as the newer sections. My advice, if your family doesn't haven't a plot in the old section, DO NOT buy a plot at Beth Israel. Your family will be sad every time they visit.

not a good company. they care more about you dying and them getting money then doing the right thing by the customer. Terrible, shame on Rocco Melchionna been there for 7 years and is a rude man with no class and well...

they wanted to charge 3330 dollars to open and close the grave

My wife called about an unveiling for my father in law. She just asked about a cheesecloth over the marker, in ground, and was told $20. Shame on Beth Israel. For all the money we pay for funerals etc, and to have to charge to have someone out a piece of cheesecloth on the market- you should be ashamed. I would not recommend you to anyone.
