Nice place to worship. Also try Congregation Beth Hallel in Lodi CA. 30 minutes south of Sacramento. They are in a beautiful church building. Not a Jews For Jesus congregation and not under UMJC umbrella. The synagogue service is very spirit filled with incredible speakers. A large congregation too. This is a warm loving group of both Jewish and Gentile believers in Messiah Yeshua. They are not pretending to be Jews, THEY ARE They hold to the traditions of Israel. They know Messiah has come to man on earth and they know HE is coming again to establish his kingdom ON EARTH .. Come and see for yourself

From Feb 8, 2011 UPDATE: Someone just explained to me that Gentile means "out of covenant" so if you are a "Gentile" "Christian" sounds like a heap of trouble. There is some skepticism within Jewish circles for anything that claims Yehoshua as OUR Messiah and the yet the same Messiah of the ones who have persecuted or forced conversions upon Jewish believers throughout history. The groups with more people that have converted FROM Judaism will be more "Torah Observant" while those congregations that started from Christians looking for their roots will tend to be more "evangelical" ... unless they came from a Sabbatarian background in the first place. Hope this helps you, Sep 10, 2010 to find what you are looking for. Also groups that try to replicate the First Century church would be more likely to be what you would be looking for. I've been to them, I know they're there... don't give up, please.

I think it is important to people looking for a synagogue realize that this is a Jews for Jesus organization, *not* a Jewish synagogue. However, if you are looking for a Jews for Jesus congregation, this is one.
