I would not take myself or anyone I love here. They can't even write down allergies I told them. So they used the exact things im allergic to in tests that were done. I would have been better off taking a benadryl and staying home. The staff did not answer call lights in emergency room. The next room rang for two hours. Certain speciality Drs were very rude.

Went in back in 2013 for swollen feet. Gave my insurance information. Doctor took a urine sample, 6 hours later told me stop using cocaine. Apparently they couldn't verify my insurance, and during this 6 hour wait never thought to verify information with me. They charged me $4,309 dollars for this. Bunch of rip off merchants.

My son had an emergency appendectomy at Bethesda Hospital East and ALL the staff were awesome. From the nurses in the ER and the pediatric wing to the housekeeping and food services staff. We were there for entire week and each and every employee and volunteer we met were so kind, helpful and pleasant! The nurses were especially memorable to my son, when he found out he was going to be discharged his first words were, "I am going to miss the nurses." We are so thankful for all of them!

My "Mom" had emergency surgery, or at least we thought it was emergency, last week. We were told to bring her in at a time to where we thought the surgery was going to be 2 hours later and after we entered the surgical lounge, we were informed that it was actually scheduled to be 7 hours after we arrived. So, the waiting just to know that she was in surgery was horrific. It got worse from that point forward. The doctor NEVER came to us to let us know that she was out of surgery and whether it went well or not. And to end it all out, we were informed, after waiting 2-3 hours after surgery that we were NOT going to be able to see her. So, we were sent home. Not impressed one bit.
