I have had ultrasounds many times over the years, and none of them have been painful. The one I had yesterday with the tech Sylvia was just awful. During the renal ultrasound I actually told her that it was very painful, and that I just had surgery a month ago, and she said she had to push that hard. I had the same ultrasound at another facility 2 months ago, and felt no pain. I should have gotten off the table and gone straight to the manager but I stayed until it was over. She was also unprofessional during the test. She had the radio on and decided to sing along. I can tell you that a person who is sick does not want to hear that. The room also had no AC so it was very uncomfortable. She also got the goop from the ultrasound all over my clothes. Needless to say, the next time I need to have a test done, I will go to Diagnostic Centers. This place was not up to par. I can't even imagine having a mammogram here!

Horrible and painful. I had a mammogram and during the exam was hurt so badly I almost passed out.  I screamed "something is wrong something is wrong." The technician told me to sit down. I saw white stars and felt nauseus. She went to tell a doctor she says and came back to tell me to do the same scan again just to be sure nothing ruptured. The doctor never came out to sese if I was ok. I was told to go home now I was done. Now two days later I cannot sleep because of the pain. As a collegiate athlete and pretty tough woman I cannot use my arm to reach out, wipe a counter, lean over, or turn the stearing wheel of my car.  No one from the office has called to see if I am ok. I f I go to the ER it will be very expensive. I have called my health care insureance provider nurse and they could do nothing except recommend ER. This is an injury perhaps even a pectoralis tear. This cannot be good for breast health.
