DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I purchased a bike online.  I called the next business day to confirm everything as I got a bad feeling about this order. It took a couple of calls, but I was able to get a man on the phone. He told me that I would get an email about shipment the next day. Never got the email. Called again and after several attempts (their phone system would actually hang up on you after holding for 4 minutes) I got the same man on the phone and was told the same thing. Again, never got an email. Called again over several hours. I even located the business location via Google maps and called a neighboring business to see if they could tell me about anything about Bicycle Empire - they told me that it looked like they were either moving or closing as there were moving trucks at their location. This did not make me feel good.  It was shortly after this that the Bicycle Empire phone system stopped working, as if it has been disconnected.  I finally got an email, but it appears to show me being credited a refund. Never, not once, did anyone ever respond to my request for help, inform me about my order being cancelled/refunded, or anything at all. NOTHING. I am waiting to see if the refund shows up in my bank account.  The only thing trying to do business with this company has done for me is to remove over $450 from my bank account, take up several hours of my time and leave me frustrated that I am unable to purchase the bike I really want. Do yourself a favor, save yourself a headache, and do not do business with this place.

UPDATE: The refund showed up in my bank account.  To date, nobody from the business ever responded to my multiple requests for help about this order that apparently was canceled by the business.  Their phone number continues to not work.

This business is a scam dont order from them. If you order something you might get it ir you might not. I tryed reaching them for over a week to try to return an item and nothing. They dont even hv a phone number. Im going to place them on the scaming list. And contact google and amazon to hv them removed. And have there site frozen until theres an investigation done. I know who to contact to get this done. The federal trades commision will come down to there place if business next week to shut them down. There no good and because there out of canada they think there untouchsble cause thete not in the US. But they will find out very soon cause they messed with someone thst knows very powerful people that can shut them down. So i hope they read this and all you beware.

I ordered 2 bikes from this company in one order. After over $400 was paid for the two bikes I tracked them through fedex for a few days. When fedex arrived only one of my bikes was delivered. Thinking it was an issue with fedex I called them just to find out that only one package was dropped off to be delivered even though they had a shipping label for 2 packages! I called the phone number for Bicycle Empire for 3 hours straight (after the automated message and being on hold for 3 minutes it disconnected!) finally some guy answered (that i could barely understand) saying that the company was packing to move locations and his computer server was down due to this. He then stated that all he could do is take my name, number and order number and call me back the following day. I am still waiting for the call... BUYERS BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

This was the place where the  Stormtroopers rode Klein bikes scoffing and acting absurd at the thought of having to adjust the brakes on a Altus equipped Cannonball.
