I purchased a road bike from these guys back in 2015. From what I gathered, one guy owns the shop, and the other guy helps out. I made the purchase through the non-owner (who was quick to say he had a garage full of bikes and was happy to sell me another set of wheels or another bike similar to the one I'd purchased) and almost immediately had to spend $300 on upgrades (new chain, new cassette, two new chain rings, and several inner tubes due to a piss-poor wheel setup). Every part on the bike had small flaws/broken parts that I could never have been seen until the pieces were taken apart and individually serviced. In his defense, the shop owner did the service of adding the cassette and a bike chain without charge. I have a feeling he felt bad for what his buddy had done. That said, until he gets rid of the shyster help, I'd avoid this shop like the plague. You get what you pay for... you'd be better off hitting up Santa Maria or taking a nice trip down to Santa Barbara for a more honest experience. I won't be back. And I will be steering anyone I meet on Vandy away from this shop to spare them the difficulties I had.

I'm really happy with my purchase at bicycles unlimited! Steve was really helpful and patient when helping me decide on a high end mountain bike. He also helped me get the bike set up for my size and weight! Hopefully I'll be returning soon to re-adjust the suspension to compensate for a little much needed weight loss! I most defiantly suggest bicycles unlimited!

got my first big bike here, now i am riding high. the nice man working told my mom to go ahead and get a grown up bike, that I was big enough, that guy must be an expert because he was right.

Touring south on highway 1, this shop was clutch. I rolled in and Bob serviced my bike while I went for a lunch break. When I came back he gave me some good information for the days ahead of me. Most importantly though, my bike was so smooth afterwards! Thanks guys!

My husand and I went with the intention of just asking a few questions regarding our bikes and left with a new bike, and tune up on bike in question, Juan was very polite, helpful and courteous and their prices were unbeatable compared to other places in town. We will be purchasing all our bicycle products at this store from now on.
