A very nice American Chinese takeout place! They have a very limited menu which alone tells me that places good. They used to be another Chinese restaurant earlier at the same spot called Chinese Buddha, which was terrible. So I’m glad this place opened up and it’s very close to where I live, I’m gonna be keep going againFood: 5/5
This was our first time here and it was pretty cool. It has a cafeteria kind of vibe. Nothing fancy. The food is pretty decent and reasonably priced. The portions are not huge, but just right. I do like to see a heaping plate come out, but that is the greedy lil fat kid in me. Go check them out the next time your taste buds scream Chinese food!
Meh, it was ok. I've had better, but their chicken egg roll is best I've ever had in my whole life!! Bursting with flavor, fresh, and buttery goodness wrap was divine! The Mongolian beef didnt taste sweet or tasted like they seasoned the beef. The rice was dry and for 2 meals delivered you should get more than 1 packet of hot mustard, 1 packet of soy sauce, 1 packet of duck sauce. Side note - I bet their wings would delicious here.
This is a classic American style Chinese restaurant. If you are expecting Michelin star service go somewhere else. If you are not, this place is fantastic. Food is very solid and came out in about ten minutes. Chicken was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is one of a kind. Get ready to jump into a mint green restaurant and get sent back in time to the 80s. They paid a lot of attention to detail at Big Boss. The ambiance alone is worth dining in. The prices are great. Service is efficient and not too friendly, just the way it should be. This is the real deal. I dare you to soak up the vibes.
A really good first experience! I ordered General Tso's Chicken, Egg drop Soup and an order of egg rolls, I was thoroughly pleased with each item. The Genera Tso's Chicken was cooked to perfection, it had a little crunch and a savory sauce. The egg drop soup was great, I added a little black pepper because that's how I prefer mine and the crispy wontons were the perfect compliment as usual. The egg rolls were fried well and weren't greasy, that's good enough for me. I'll definitely be returning soon. A few things to note. The parking is a little tricky so pay attention to the signage. Getting to the building from the parking garage is not the best experience because it is in the back of the restaurant. The interior is really dope and has a nostalgic but yet futuristic feel to it.
Great vibe. The actual place looks so much brighter and less green/blueish. I took a take out of chicken fried rice. Chicken fried rice is so good I’m surprised the quality of meat they use. Its not like a thin hard slices of chicken breasts other places use. Very juicy.Recommended dishesChicken Fried Rice
I was craving Chinese which I don’t usually do decided to order from big boss because I remembered them having the crispyiest general tso I’ve ever had. The process to order online was straight forward although I never got a call letting me know my food was done. I’m not sure how long my food was sitting there before I picked it up. The food it self was sad. The general tso chicken was super soggy. I found a random piece of tofu or some type of protein the texture did not give chicken. The crab rangoons are simply just deep fried cream cheese but it’s not terrible. The best thing I consumed yesterday was the rice I would hope the white rice is good and the canned sprite I paid $2 for. Overall, I wish I wouldn’t have spent $26 food + tip on this food. I will not be back unfortunately.
Food’s great either for takeout or dine-in. Standard Chinese cuisine, and never had a bad experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool too. Wish they would expand their hours to support lunchtime though.Food: 4/5
First time visiting this place. The place is pretty simple but cute. The food is pretty good, the staffs are friendly. The manager or the owner was pretty attentive to his customers. The price is very reasonable. Some of the tables needed to be cleaned so I gave 4 stars. I would return and try their different dishes.Food: 5/5
Standard Chinese food, nothing special. They skimp on the beef and broccoli. general tsu chicken was decent. Fried rice is good. Hot and sour soup had barely any tofu or mushrooms in it, but the flavor was good.
