I went to the mountain biking trail. The trail is very organized. Roswell Alpharetta Mountain Biking Organization (RAMBO) have done an excellent job in marking the trail on which directions to go and which days and also the difficulty level of a specific trail. Trail is over all maintained very well even in winter that is when I went riding. Parking lot can get rather full pretty quickly. My only constructive criticism and suggestion would be for the organization to perhaps put status of how full or empty the parking lot is.

Big Creek Park can easily be missed as you drive along the winding road. Even once you turn into the entrance the immediate parking on the right and left leaves you puzzled about where to go next - 'where's the park?'. Unless you are a mountain biker coming for the trail in the words keep driving down the road and round the bend where there is more parking and a bathroom, then it starts to make sense. From here you can walk on the concrete path, go either way because it's a loop and will bring you to the same place in less than a mile. The path, called the Greenway goes about 5 miles to another parking lot, and then on another 2 miles to the end of the trail. The beauty of it being that it is easy walking and away from cars. Highly recommended!

Options to walk on mixed use, paved walkway/bikeway or take wooded paths for pedestrians only and mountain bikes only.  I love this idea - bikers can speed along and walkers can hike without having bikes rushing by and disturbing their reflection.  We had a lovely, quiet walk.

Big Creek is a wonderful and exhilarating mountain bike trail with nice walking paths mostly separate from biking. Though it's not the biggest or most scenic park, it's well maintained and varied enough to stay interesting throughout.  Plus, the trail takes multiple paths and reverses course on different days of the week. Recommended for all riding levels.

Trails are so spiderweb-like it's difficult to find my way around. Spent more time map reading than riding. The trail tread is good riding. Just poor layout.
