I believe it's fair that I consider myself as a BBQ Connoisseur and sometimes a snob. Typically I rate on the first three factors in my rating scale. 
Taste (including smoked flavor), Tenderness & Texture. 
This was my first visit to Big Woody's and definitely will not be my last. One of my best indicators of Tenderness is: If the establishment provides knives but there's never Any Reason to use your knife. More impressive with the plastic knifes being provided. Haha. Bottom line, this place ROCKS Your BBQ and Mine. 
Guaranteed to enjoy! Almost forgot, don't you forget their Awesome side dishes like Sweet Potato fries, Okra & wait for it... Deep Fried Corn on the Cob !

I was in St. Charles todsy for work and looked for a place to get ribs before heading to the airport.  The ribs were the best I have ever tasted and the environment was fun.  The owner was very friendly and we chatted for a while. I wish I could give more stars.

The food was excellent, the regulars shared their stories and gave suggestions (the pork steak is next!), the owner is watching everything. I don’t know what more you could ask for. Well done Woody, we will be back soon.

I eat BBQ everywhere I go, especially when we are out of town.

Big Woody's has become the standard by which I measure other places.  I have never, NEVER come across another BBQ joint that consistently delivers such mouth watering BBQ.

Hands down the BEST brisket I have ever had.  I don't even care for pork but Woody's is mouth watering.  

Do yourself a favor and give them a shot.

Calk ahead to reserve ribs or a 2 lb pork steak because they tend to sell out.

This place is amazing! I'll be dreaming of it as I don't live in MO. We ate there on the road trip and it was so delicious. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich & fries. Highly recommend that to anyone who loves BBQ. It was moist and tender. Great tasting sauce. We tried a couple other BBQ places and this was high on the list, if not my absolute favorite. Their decor was also one of my favorite parts. Fun & interesting.
