This Big Y is probably one of the best places to get groceries in New Milford. The store is very clean, big, and everything is easy to find. Staff are friendlier than Stop & Shop, but prices are a bit higher. Their bakery is great, and their store prepared foods like pizza are excellent. Everything seems fresh, and nothing is expired, although produce can be lacking at times. We love the silver and gold coins, and sales are pretty good. The only problems are that there are no self checkouts, which I prefer. Overall, a fine place to get groceries.

The selection is very good for a supermarket it's size. The sales are excellent, especially the managers specials. My one concern is that many of the staff do not know where items are if they are not present in their own departments. This is including related item such as prepackaged cheese and prepackaged deli meats, which are in different parts of the store. This is a minor concern compared to the overall store.

Employees and staff are nice. They try to keep everything properly stocked. Has a warm atmosphere.

I often use the pizza shop for party size pizzas. This weekend we had many more guests than expected at my child's birthday. The pizza shop let me change my order on short notice, were super friendly & understanding, AND the order was still finished upon the original orders requested time. All of this in the middle of a football season Sunday afternoon 😁
They were great!
