For being right next to a railroad, I slept like a baby...bring ear plugs. Price was reasonable too.

We stayed here one night because everything in the dalles and hood river were completely full, we happened to be driving this way towards Lepage campground and saw the vacancy sign on, we were so grateful they had one last room available. The room was a little outdated, and the traffic noise was pretty harsh but other than that we got to sleep on brand new beds they just put in! Firm but comfy and price was fair and very friendly lady that helped me at the front desk! It did a good job providing us a cool comfy place to sleep on a hot summer night when we were out of options. Greatful for this place.

This motel was our life saver on this last memorial weekend when all the Portland hotels were sold out and we couldn't find a place to stay in Portland or any close by towns. We just started driving back home to Boise hoping to find something on our way. And here it was - the sign VACANCY! The motel is very old but clean, beds were comfortable, shower had a good pressure, and the price was very low for the memorial weekend. In the morning when I took my dog outside I was astounded by the spectacular view of Columbia river and the windmills on the other side...

We came here at 2 o'clock in the morning not knowing what to expect, we were exhausted. Called 15 min ahead to see if a room is available. Yes there was!  We were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and the beds and pillows comfy.  The air-conditioner worked well. Those are the things I care about. Only downfall is no blackout curtains.
