Bill Harley Company

Billy Harley knows grass!!!!!  He is extremely knowledgeable and helped us to attain a beautiful front yard. My husband and I worked for a little over 2 months preparing the yard with his step by step instructions. Mr. Harley came by several times to advise us on what we needed to do to achieve our goal.  He delivered the grass, when he felt the dirt was ready and even helped with laying it down properly.  He is worth every penny and our yard is proof of that.

Nice and polite but in my opinion he overcharged. My outside spigot leaked and I explained details to Bill over the phone. He gave a ballpark estimate to replace it along with the time it'd take to complete. That would be $200 and could be more. He came on the date/time that we'd agreed. Upon viewing the spigot he tightened up fittings and all the different hose connections as well using his t-handle. Simply doing that appeared to work. He looked at some shrubbery I'd planted and gave opinions to relocate them. He also view the side and rear of my house and told me I needed dirt that he could sale to me. So, there was a lot of talking and he tightened fittings. This cost me $200 (if not $250). He said his time was money and he was due at a job while he was at my house. I felt betrayed and taken advantage of. The 'time is money' crap was BS. To deal with Bill a person has to be aggressive and specifically specify exactly what will take place. He said he "fixed the leak" which is what he said he'd do. What we'd spoke about for the price quote was possibly replacing a spigot, not tightening screws. I personally wouldn't recommend him; if asked I'd let the person know they must ask questions frequently before the "job" is done. A haggler would probably fare well.

Bill and his team did a great job fixing my broken water main. Came in less than an hour on a Saturday afternoon, and finished the job in the rain so we could have water that night. Thanks, Bill.

Bill is not only a very nice man, but extremely knowledgeable.   His firewood is the best, great fires every time.  Quick to light and long burning.  THANKS BILL.

Mr. Harley delivered the pine straw at the agreed upon time and the agreed upon price. His pine straw was beautiful, and it helped make our yard look tremendous. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for pine straw.
