It's by far the oldest restaurant in town. It's a hole in the wall, but serves fabulous, giant burgers, with great cheese balls, mushrooms and fries. The milk shakes are exceptional also. Not a romantic setting just stools. It becomes very busy after midnight when the bars close. On Friday or Saturday night, you will wait for a stool after midnight. It's an interesting place to see people of all sorts and eat giant delicious burgers. A double is much bigger than any hamburger at a chain. The triple is hard to get your mouth around. They serve a 4 patty too, but I've never seen anyone order it. My only complaint is that they don't deep fry the bacon anymore! It made everything that came out of the fryer taste better! Many people love the breakfasts too. If you come to Taylorville, you should try it. I pity the fools that don't!

Biggest burgers for miles! Tasty and filling! Order the double and you'll be taking half home in a box. Order a triple and you should expect to eat for a week! This family owned place is small with 2 x 2 person booths and an ice cream shop style counter. Wait staff was friendly and efficient! I would recommend this dive style hole in the wall burger joint to anyone...especially to those with a hole in their leg...cause those burgers gotta go somewhere!

My grandsons took me to Bill's for a wonderful burger a number of years ago. Low and be hold they were open 24 hours and I had another wonderful burger tonight. Thank Bill's.
