Friends kept talking it up, so I finally decided to go see for myself and I was not disappointed. Pho soup was so rich and fragrant and delicious I drank it all. Grilled pork perfectly cooked and seasoning was so good. I ate it all with the egg together. Bahnmi is made with a fresh bagette and so good - when here ordering one is a must. Definitely worth the visit. I regret that it took me so long to get here.
It’s not much from the outside to understate it a but and half the interior is a pool hall as the name implies, but the food is very tasty and well presented. They have a diverse menu, with lots of specialties beyond the pho found all over Seattle. Definitely worth going back to.Food: 5/5
Before I talk about the food, I have to talk about the service. Our server was so incredibly warm and inviting. He not only have us recommendations from the menu, but talked to us about the history of some the dishes and how they are prepared. He was mindful of asking how adventurous we each were feeling and then helped tailor our orders accordingly. Ok, the food was good. In particular, the fish sauce wings were outstanding!! These were the best wings I've ever had. They were perfectly caramelized with a sweet, umami fish sauce coating. Keep in mind, this place functions as a pool hall and restaurant, so don't expect a really fancy atmosphere, but there are plenty of tables to sit and enjoy a meal.
Bo Luc Lac aka Shaking Beef here is amazing. It's my favorite dish. I usually ask for it in a bowl, then mix it all together. So I get all the flavors and juices on the rice evenly. Then the extra sauce they give, I pour it on gradually as I eat. Short ribs dish is very good also. And I hear the Pho is good as well. But I'm not a big soup person. Oh yeah, banh mi here is really good. Order a grilled pork to go for later. You won't be disappointed. You can also add a egg to it also, which I don't. They're banh mi game can compete with some of the local bakery's, no kidding.
Billiard Hoang looks like a pool hall from the outside, but walk in and you'll find that half of the space is a restaurant worth visiting. I love their rich, gelatinous oxtail pho I'm a sucker for all things oxtail, with extra-thin and bouncy rice noodles and lots of fresh herbs, as well as their grilled pork banh mi. It's a classic version with juicy strips of grilled pork with plenty of crispy caramlized bits and fresh vegetables stuffed into a crisp rice flour baguette.
I had the banh mi with BBQ pork, Vietnamese sausage, pate, and a scrambled egg. The roll was perfect with a shatteringly crisp crust and a soft interior. There was cucumber in it but I missed the picked daikon radish and carrots. I also had a small bowl of pork broth which was sumptuous.Food: 5/5
Ive been wanting to go here for some authentic Vietnamese food, and was not disappointed. Pretty much everyone in the place was Vietnamese, which is always a good sign. Staff was friendly and interior was nice outside is a little sketchy. Everything was good and there is plenty to try!
This restaurant mainly serves Vietnamese cuisine. The price is reasonable. The staff is friendly, hospitable, and attentive to your orders. You can play billiards nearby, but you must be at least 21 to enter the play area. The area is a bit complicated since I have seen many police coming to this place a lot. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone

Great Vietnamese food! We ordered Steak & Meatball Pho, Bahn Mi #7 with an egg, beef rice, beef stew, and an iced coffee. Enjoyed everything!
