Extremely slow service even though place was deserted. Couldn't even find anyone to ask for more water. Food is only ok. Restaurant was also very cold.

The deathwrap with the spicy bbq always hits the spot! A little pricey but for something that leaves you full it’s worth it. Always seem to have great service at all their locations. All seem to be busy but you never wait too long!

Perfect spot and atmosphere to watch a football game. No matter your team, they had opportunities to watch every game on offer. Fans were a mix of a half dozen teams. The amazing selection of over 30 housemade sauces for wings and tenders was a great bonus.

On an early Tuesday afternoon in December, I decided to try out Binga's Stadium, not because I was looking for a fun sports bar, but because I was looking for a challenge. As was the case in December, the sun had already far past set even though I had just gotten out of work. I headed to Portland, my destination in mind. Walking through the streets of Portland, there was a chill beyond the temperature in the air, and although there was activity all around me, everything seemed quiet. Nature itself knew the endeavor I had set for myself. I sat down, dressed in far more formal affair than the other patrons. Being afternoon verging on evening, the place was not as crowded as it held capacity for, and I could tell on a game night, the place would be raucous. For now, though it seemed to be mostly regulars holding conversations and sharing brews. I removed my suit jacket and rolled up the sleeves of my red dress shirt, achieving a zen-like state of concentration. The waitress approached, her bright smile dimming as she saw me. She knew I was here for business. She asked if I wanted a drink. I stopped her, saying, "I'm here for your hot wing challenge." The people at the bar didn't know what had been said, but she looked to the bar and gave the other staff members THE LOOK, as if to say, "Oh boy, we've got another one." A hush fell over the previously energetic bartenders and the waitresses stopped taking orders for a moment. "Are you sure?" She asked, nervously. "Yeah," I responded, no hesitation in my voice. She left to have the devil wings prepared and came back to explain the challenge. I was aware of the many details, which basically came down to 6 wings, 20 minutes, no drinks. She left again and didn't return until she had the fabled wings. They came in a to-go box with plastic silverware so as to keep the dishwasher safe once I finished, either a champion or a failure. There were gloves to keep my hands from touching the toxic sauce. I cut the wings and told the waitress I was ready, the whole room watching now. I took two bites and began to hiccup as the volcanic juices ran down my throat. This only spurred me further, shoveling bites of lava-covered chicken into my burning gullet. Two more bites and my nose began to run, another two and my eyes watered. But there was no stopping. There was more than a free meal on the line, there was glory. My throat began to scream as I felt each piece of chicken work its way down my esophagus. It felt like more than heat in my throat, it was like a live cactus was jumping around. I sweat, I cried, and I ate. In the end I made it only a quarter of the way through before I was unable to breathe. It was too much for my mortal throat to handle. Calmly, I asked the waitress for water. She brought water and milk. Later that night I was sick from the spice, experiencing the pain over again. And I have learned my lesson. I shall not be eating spicy foods for at least a month. I blame not the bar for my stupidity. I only gave it a four star rating because the colleague, who did not partake in this challenge nor did they have nearly as spicy a chicken also got sick afterwards, so I'm a little worried it that didn't have anything to do with the sauce at all. But the waitress was really nice in the face of my stupidity and it seemed like a fun place to get a few drinks, other than milk and water.
