Awesome atmosphere, I offered beer even. My stylist was nice and fun to shoot the breeze with. I joked about giving her 3 stars if I didn't get an A-line Bob (as a man without enough hair for one), and The other stylist joined In on it saying they could glue hair on me for my request, it was funny. My actual haircut turned out amazing , and was very well priced. I'll come back.

Started going to the Orenco location when they first opened. Had a great cutter there and all the apartments had not been built up yet and this location was not so busy. Then it got busy. Who waits over an hour for a haircut? Really? I don't. they give a beer - a weak bad beer - while you wait. Maybe if they had a decent IPA on tap with serve yourself.. but then I'd be hammered by the time I got called for a haircut. My favorite cutter left, the waits got too long, so I have taken my business elsewhere.

If I'm rating this place specifically just on haircuts, I would not hesitate to give a 5 star rating. I've been coming here for quite some times now (several years) and they recently (as of Summer 2017) change their scheduling system for the better I think. Before the change, they would only take walk-ins only even though other Bishop locations offered online check-in. So you would have to either come during non-peak hours or stop by to put your name down when it's busy and come back at a later time. The wait could go easily over 1 hours when there are a few folks waiting. Now, they will put your name down over the phone! But you will need to show up within 2 hours otherwise they'll take your name off.

I always have Amber cut and color my hair and am overly pleased every time. Sometimes I just tell her make me look good and she knows exactly what to do! The shop atmosphere is also AMAZING. From the music to the stylists, it's hard to hang out and not be comfortable. Everyone works so well together; if Amber wasn't there the next time I drop in, I'd go with any of their awesome ladies that work there! Makes me want to get my hair done ALL THE TIME! Thanks for making me always look and feel like a million bucks :)
