Little hidden gem on the Detroit/hamtramck border. The fried chicken is amazing and is cooked with the chickens they slaughter in house. Ask for the spice powder. The shrimp and hot wings are good too. My parents have been buying their chicken here forever. Everything is halal.

Live halal chicken available. Also they have halal hot food, fried chicken, rice, samosa, French fries and much more. They also have produce and other food items. Prices are reasonable.

I have been here quite a few times. Some of the employees were nice and helpful, but majority of the time they are rude and just rush you to make a decision and move on. Some seemed irritated when I asked questions. With me being a fairly new customer, I had questions regarding their prepared food. I have gotten some really delicious items here, but have also gotten some items that were nasty. I don't like how some of the prepared food item's prices were not listed and I feel like I was overcharged. In one purchase, I ordered hummus and some garlic sauce. I asked if they each came with bread. I was told that he "got" me and when I got home I was upset to find one piece. Had he had told me, I could have purchased more bread. I even told the guy that I needed bread for the garlic sauce I was buying. I have been there maybe 4 or 5 times and have been more upset than satisfied. I am on the fence about whether I will be going back or not. 😐

I will always love this place...but unfortunately i wont be able to visit for a while since the passing of my husband. Too many memories
