Great atmosphere, amazing food, friendly staff. If you haven't already been to Bistro 234, make your next night out here. They also serve lunch at certain times and days. Highly recommend for Anniversary, Birthday... Also, I do recommend making reservations, although anytime we have gone in just to see if there's seating, the Manager always finds us a cozy corner or outside where the Turlock Main Street comes alive at night. The Chicken Marsala is my very favorite♡

My husband and I got engaged here 10 years ago tonight. We have our favorite dishes that we always get and we always try something new. There is always a great variety of flavors and even a few gluten-free choices for me. Brida was our server and she was awesome. Lots of wonderful memories shared here! Thank you!

Incredible food. The flavors are just bursting! Higher end, dress nice but not formal. The “place to go” for the upper crust in Turlock. Outside dining with heaters available. Nice ambiance, dark and romantic inside, good date place. Side note: There are no substitutions/additions to a entree allowed, even for a fee. That was disappointing as I was hoping for a *taste* of the gnocchi alongside the Filet Mignon. They are both very good.

Enjoyed my caprese salad and excellent steak. Service was friendly and timely. Two menu items were not available. Nice evening.

Had a reservation for two that was made a week before for 6:45. Got to the restaurant a little early at 6:30. Had to wait until 7:08 to be sat at our table. We saw at least two couples that arrived after us sat before we were. In the end we were sat next to the kitchen. The bread was cold and so was the butter that couldn't be spread on it. We ordered immediately after being sat since we had almost 40 minutes of time to think over our choices. It took 20 minutes to get our bruschetta. Our meals came out 10 minutes later. I wouldn't say it was worth the wait but it was quite good. Our servers were atentative but not terribly friendly. I might come back if I know the restaurant would honor my reservation.
