Service was inattentive, even  disrespectful, as if I didn't belong there; mocking, even.  After I was seated, I waited a long time until my waitress, Brigitte T, finally appeared, who "caressed" my beer and asked "is this yours?" without so much as an introduction! (No, I was not over-served as that was my only drink.) It took forever to place my order, get my food and pay my bill. I had to almost yell to a bus person or waitress to get any attention and I was ignored. The weirdest and most frustrating experience I've ever had at a restaurant.  I always try to be a gracious, mindful customer as I recognize how difficult the hospitality industry can be. However, in this case, never again.

We always enjoy stopping here for dinner when we are near Tanforan.  The food is consistently very good, beer selection is great. The large menu means we all find something, and special mention that they do a lot for the gluten-free set. More options and better quality than a lot of places in the city. Best GF bun I've had. Also, the young wait staff works hard, and we have not been disappointed with service. It's a very popular place, with big wait times, so the downside is you have to stop in pretty early for dinner if you're not willing to wait 30+ minutes. Have eaten at San Mateo location once and it was very good too. Less hectic.

I loved the food even though  the service wasn't quite good the food was great. I also have to recognized that when my partner and I went there the host told us that there was a 30 minutes wait but the manager acted  immediately and gave us a sit right away. So 5 stars for this great service and the food overall.

Medium well burger cooked very well done and not dressed as ordered. Why do you serve fries that aren’t gluten free when a gluten free bun burger is ordered?  The waitress got sassy when I asked her that question.  Probably won’t be going back to a BJ’s anytime soon.

Decided to take an out of state friend here for the debt selection of beers on tap here and was fairly impressed contrary to the lackluster service from several previous visits over the years. I was more impressed with the excellent service provided by Vicky behind the bar! Cheese curds were good and a perfect accompaniment to the beers. The avocado rolls were mushy and not crispy as expected and she kindly offered to take them off the bill and replace them with an awesome famous pizookie which my friend really loved! Next time, I will stop by and don't see Vicky behind the bar I will walk right out!
