Story

Bk's Beacon Tavern is located at the entrance to the Fall River Industrial Park, right off of route 24 exit 8. It has a quaint, relaxing atmosphere. Our Fish and Chip plate was awarded first place in The Heralds " Annual Readers Choice Poll in 2014". Bk's Beacon Tavern offers a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Our Homemade Bread Pudding is a great way to end a great meal.

Came here on a Wednesday night for the all you can eat pasta. The website, the greeter at the door, and the menu all said all you can eat pasta. What every one of these things forgot to mention was that it's 1 plate of whatever pasta with a protein you want and refills of just the pasta and sauce. I found that out when I asked for another plate. Very disappointing that it had not been mentioned at one point. Rip off!

I've gone to BKs a number of times and ive always had a good experience. The red head bartender is excellent and attentive. The food is good, not the best ive ever had but good enough. The last time I was there I wemt to the bar for a few beers and it turned into the 2nd American revolution. After a few bud lights and sicilians I saw the airport beacon and was remined of the time the marines held off the Chinese at Chosin. As the bud light flowed with nothing more than a nod to the bartender I was taken back to high school history and the winter at valley forge when Washington and his men braved the weather and the British surviving on mushrooms and beer and ive never felt more American. The only people who have a bad time here are most definitely communists. If I could give 7 stars I would with a B-2 flyover and fireworks and the Budweiser humvee tossing cans of freedom and porn. Highly recommended. Barrets alehouse is for hipster too poor to buy clothes and old women. Go to BKs and actually enjoy your night.

The food was ok, but the service was awful on 10/5/17.

I sat at the bar and could only get any service from the brunette bartender when I waved my arms. She never asked if wanted her to refill my empty drink or how my food was, so I never had a chance to tell her that my fish was grossly undercooked. Apparently texting whomever she was texting and obsessively looking for a plug for her phone was more important than her customers.  Thank goodness the rest of my meal was Ok. She also spent considerable time with her back to the crowd doing God knows what.

I left a note explaining why I only left a 6.4% tip. I was shocked when she literally chased me about 1/4 mile to my hotel (apparently leaving her other guests to fend for themselves) to throw the $7.00 I left as a tip at my feet in my hotel lobby. I know everyone has a bad day, but seriously? Do Millennials feel that entitled to 20% tips to justify this sort of meltdown?

Stay away from this place if you value service as part of your dining experience.

Enjoyed the Bacon Burger summer special... absolutely delicious wish they weren't out of the Narragansett that went with it... but did adjust the cost for a Berkley IPA
