RAW STEAK!! Food Poison. Beware! On June 17 we ordered a 16 ounce ribeye with two lobster tails and some sides. The steak was ordered as med/well, but it was completely cold on the inside see pics and my souse ended up throwing up for two days since this order. The steak wasn’t undercooked, it was basically entirely uncooked! It’s not even rare - it was cold to the touch and completely and entirely raw! Be careful! My spouse is still sick because of this.
Ok, this was my first time ever at this restaurant and I can't believe how horrible the service was at this establishment. We started off by being seated by hostess just to wait 15 minutes for our server who failed to reappear during my visit. We were instead served by thier General Manager John Akillian. Speaking of thier manager during my time here he or no servers ever came to check up on me or offer a refill of my water. I finished my meal and yet nobody came to check on me to see if I wanted a refill or not while John continued to entertain the booths beside me. I made an attempt to catch his attention but he just walked right beside me. The restaurant was not that busy and I projected my voice pretty loud enough yet he passed right through me. I have never felt that disrespected at any other restaurant. After 40 minutes waiting he has the audacity to offer me dessert. I respectfully denied his offer and just asked for the check. The party I was with also felt very unwelcome. I truly hope this doesn't happen to any other customer at this location. Horrible service! The only highlight of my visit was the quality of the food. It was anaconda amazing. It's sad that people can ruin such heart food.
Black Angus Steakhouse in Whittier, CA, is a testament to the enduring charm of classic American steakhouses. As a long-standing chain, it has seen many of its contemporaries disappear, yet it continues to thrive, reflecting its consistent appeal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a nostalgic nod to the traditional casual steakhouse, offering a familiar and welcoming ambiance. The physical space, though showing signs of age, is consistently clean and well-maintained. My dining experience at Black Angus was highly satisfactory. The food here consistently meets expectations, with each dish being well-prepared and flavorful. Steaks, the centerpiece of their menu, are particularly noteworthy for their quality and taste. The drinks menu complements the food well, featuring enjoyable options that enhance the overall dining experience. One of the standout features of Black Angus is the staff. They are friendly and welcoming, contributing significantly to a pleasant dining atmosphere. This level of service makes the restaurant a reliable choice for those seeking a comfortable and enjoyable meal. While Black Angus may not compete with high-end, glamorous steak houses in terms of luxury or prestige, it excels in delivering a satisfying dining experience at a very reasonable price. It's an excellent choice for anyone craving a quick, delicious steak without the hefty price tag often associated with upscale steak restaurants. Overall, Black Angus in Whittier is a solid choice for those looking to enjoy a good meal in a comfortable setting. Parking: The restaurant benefits from ample parking, as it is conveniently situated in a shopping center.
Made anniversary reservations with upgraded balloons and card with a dessert. None of the upgrades I asked for were done. 3 of the 4 entrees were made incorrectly. I brought it up to management and I did not even get an apology. Do not waste your time or moneyFood: 2/5

Black Angus is a great place to eat and spend time with family and friends. We spent a couple of hours with my cousin and his wife. When the food is delicious, the conversation can go on and on. They have a special sorry, but I can't remember the name. You get your choice of the meat cut, salad, 2 sides plus dessert. Step in you're gonna love it, I guarantee it
My mistake for ordering delivery. This looks as if it was tossed on a hot stove for a few seconds, then flipped, and called done.Food: 1/5
In general food and services are great, portions are huge and tasteful. But the place is dirty, top of the booth is filled with dust. Furniture is dated and worn, and definitely need a makeover. Last but not least, the staff in the kitchen keeps opening the back door and a draft of cold air and sewage smell continuously rushed to the diner. I would not recommend this place in it's current condition
The food was decent. I wish the baby ribs had been more moist. The creme brulee was a little grainy, but overall the experience was good. My favorite was the margaritas they weren't skimpy with the liquor and the wedge salad. I had to go back another day to have another wedge salad!Food: 4/5
took my whole family there, after long flight, food was great, but I won't be this location again, brown female server with short hair after I put $10 tips, 3 days later when I check the bank statement, looks like whoever change the $10 tips to $20, I have receipt and it is very clear. $10I spend $65 dollars on the meal, you tip yourself $20 bucks from my credit card without my permission, I am glad I checked, it is totally unethical. but don't get me wrong, the food is delicious. but BA lost my trust forever...FOREVER
