This was our worst dining experience ever! Our table was dirty. The ladies bathroom was absolutely filthy and smelled of urine and feces. We ordered the full rack of ribs, the chicken melt, and garlic bread with cheese. The chicken breast was very small, and very salty. It had a  small amount of jar marinara sauce and melted cheddar cheese. The chicken was dry. The red skinned mashed potatoes were far from mashed. It tasted like an old baked potatoe that was mashed down on my plate and barely heated in the microwave. The butter packs that were put on top of my food wouldn't even melt when I spread it on the potatoes. My husbands ribs again looked and tasted like they were cooked days ahead and reheated. They were very fatty. His french fries were way over cooked. The frozen mixed vegetable was probably the best thing on our plates! Our garlic bread with cheese was our appetizer and it wasn't good either. It was hard around the edges of the bread but the rest of it was doughy bread with melted cheese. As we made our way to our table we had a good look into the kitchen which was scary! Not sure when this place was last inspected but I find it hard to believe it hasn't been shut down! We didn't even eat half of our food! Think twice before you decide to dine here! It will be a miracle if we don't both get food poisoning from this food!

The food is always good but the service is always awful, and I don't mean the waitress, who was the only one in a large restaurant.The owner needs lessons from her floorplans to staffing issues. It could be a great restaurant. Waiting an hour and 20 to get your food is unacceptable. Won't be back.😢

If you're looking for a 5 star wine and dine experience then look elsewhere. However if you're looking for a laid back, cheap but quality pub food head on in to the Black Dog.

I have frequented this restaurant many times in the past 7 months and can't say I recall ever having a bad experience. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the meals are quite tasty. 

My only complaint would be is it needs to get more British pub classics in there. I know you couldn't keep me away if they offered pub fries (cut fries  with a curry sauce). I'd be there regularly for lunch.

Portions are great and food is tasty. You get what you paid for.
