Very convenient and easy to find. I was quickly seated in the waiter immediately took my order. I ordered the sample plate which came with barbecue chicken, ribs, and I ordered the pool pork as the third. I also ordered coleslaw as my side. The food came out really quick it was good I like the selection of barbecue sauce is at the table. They had Kansas City style, mustard, Carolina, and one other which I can't remember at the time. I sampled all of them and they were all good I preferred to Kansas City one over the other three. The only thing I didn't like about the restaurant was the Decour, it was a strip mall style eatery. Done nicely though. I like my barbecue places with a bunch of stuff on the walls like license plates and other memorabilia from the area. I would recommend you eat here and I would eat here again if I ever come back to Frederick

Black Hog is conveniently located just off of 270 in Urbana, so it's a perfect pit stop off you're on the highway. I got the brisket sandwich (item #3 on the menu), with a side of Mac and Cheese, and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches are a decent size, and even though they give you a good amount of Mac and cheese , it's so good you would never be satisfied with any amount they gave you. The bar looks cool, and they've got a few Maryland beers on tap. I'd love to do a taste off between Black Hog and Smoke Hill barbecue in Damascus. Both are great!

Great meats and fresh, well seasoned side items.  We had ribs, brisket, cole slaw, potato salad, and mac & cheese.  But back to the meat....tender with great smoke and sauce.  Next time we are in town we will come here again.

I love this place - super quick and friendly service. And delicious barbeque, and mac and cheese. The only item I've been disappointed with was the burgers. A bit on the pricy side for a quick lunch, but worth it.

Been going here for years.  Food is great, service is good.  Decent drinks, but the bbq is the best.
