The home is a great piece of history - but the tour guides made this experience worthwhile. I brought my little cousin (8 or 9 years old) with me. They had a scavenger hunt prepared for youth to do while on the tour. The tour guides didn't mind taking a bit of extra time to address him individually and to ask how he was doing with the search. They were so patient that they even helped him to spell the names of the room in the house. The goal of completing the hunt was to receive a prize. They allowed him to re-enter areas of the house where he didn't originally find the hidden item listed on the scavenger hunt. Thanks for the awesome information about the home - but also for helping my younger cousin enjoy the experience as well. He said he had so much fun.

Very interesting tour. Only thing that stops 5 stars is the 120 steps the climb up from the boat.
