Beach is sandy and very relaxing. There are a lot of nice waterfalls that are worth the hike. Rainbow waterfall is pretty but the stairs are very steep.  Very good location for family trip

We stopped here on sailing trip from NYC to Duluth.  It is a very beautiful and peaceful place.  Highly recommended for escaping pressures of life.

Lovely park alongside a narrow river harbor. Very cool suspension bridge crosses the river and leads you to a short ~200m trail to an awesome beach. Highly recommended.
